2. AH&LEF Incoming Freshman Scholarship

Deadline: May 1

The AH&LEF Incoming Freshmen Scholarship is a new opportunity that was created in 2008 to help freshmen who are enrolling in undergraduate programs majoring in a hospitality related field. Applicants must meet all of the criteria set by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation to apply between January 1 and May 1, and there is no specific school or nomination requirements. To qualify, you must be an incoming freshman in Fall, be a citizen, and maintain a GPA of 2.0. All applicants must also be enrolled full-time as a hospitality major. 3. American Bus Association Scholarships

The American Bus Association Scholarship Foundation was established in 1995 to honor the life of the Association’s CEO George T. Snyder. 4. Alexander Harris Scholarship

The Alexander Harris Scholarship is available to undergraduate students in a tourism-specific program at an accredited four-year school in the United States. To qualify for the competitive $1000 award, you must be a resident of New York or New Jersey and be entering your junior or your senior year of study with a 3.0 GPA or higher. 5. American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Joseph R. Stone Graduate Scholarship

The Tourism Cares offers 3 Joseph R. Stone awards that are funded by the American Society of Travel Agents Fund. Each award is granted in the amount of $2500 to applicants who qualify and who are chosen based on their academic performance. The Clem Judd Jr. Memorial Scholarship is available to college students enrolled as juniors or seniors who are Hawaiian. The California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation currently offers a competitive scholarship opportunity for high school seniors and also undergraduate students who are California residents and who meet all of the application qualifications. Hyatt, a leader in the hospitality industry, has been offering scholarship opportunities through the AH&LEF Fund since 1988. The National Tour Association currently offers the Dr. Tom Anderson Graduate Scholarship to students in the United States and Canada who are pursuing an advanced-level graduate degree in hospitality, travel or tourism. 16. National Tour Association (NTA) Eric Friedheim Graduate Scholarship

The National Tour Association also offers the Eric Friedheim Graduate Scholarship to graduate students enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited school that is located in the United States.
